Description

Airgun Capital Eagle 2″×8″ Airgun Suppressor

The Airgun Capital Eagle 2″×8″ Airgun Suppressor is Airgun Capital’s flagship airgun moderator.

Its large 2-inch diameter and 8-inch body provide the greatest internal volume in the company’s suppressor lineup.

The Eagle is designed for shooters who want maximum suppression from higher-power air rifles, including high-pressure PCP airguns and big-bore platforms.

Airgun Capital manufactures the Eagle from CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum and finishes it with a matte black hard anodizing.

Inside is a seven-baffle removable aluminum stack matched to the selected caliber.

Built for .177 Through .50 Caliber Airguns

The Eagle covers Airgun Capital’s full caliber range.

Available caliber groups include:

  • .177 / .22
  • .22 / .25
  • .25 / .30
  • .30 / .357
  • .357 / .45
  • .45 / .50 (.510)

Each Eagle uses a caliber-matched front endcap.

Airgun Capital states that the exit bore is sized to approximately 1 mm larger than the projectile diameter rather than using one oversized bore for every caliber.

For .510 airguns and slugs, select the .45 / .50 (.510) configuration.

Designed for Big-Bore PCP Airguns

The Eagle is the only suppressor in Airgun Capital’s listed lineup designed to handle its complete big-bore range through .45 and .50 caliber.

Its large internal volume makes it particularly suited to:

  • High-pressure PCP air rifles
  • High-FPE airguns
  • .357 big-bore airguns
  • .45 caliber airguns
  • .50 caliber airguns
  • .510 slug platforms

Seven-Baffle Internal Stack

Inside the Eagle is a seven-baffle caliber-specific stack.

The aluminum baffles are removable, allowing the suppressor to be completely disassembled without tools.

Each baffle stack is sized for the selected caliber configuration.

Caliber-Matched Front Endcap

The Eagle uses a caliber-matched threaded aluminum front endcap.

Airgun Capital states that the exit bore provides approximately 1 mm of projectile clearance.

Matching the bore more closely to the projectile is intended to avoid the oversized exit opening found on universal-caliber moderators.

CNC-Machined 6061-T6 Aluminum

The Eagle’s outer shell is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum.

Airgun Capital describes this material as lightweight, corrosion resistant, and durable.

The suppressor body, base cap, front endcap, and removable baffles are aluminum.

Matte Black Hard-Anodized Finish

The Eagle features a matte black hard-anodized finish.

This provides a clean appearance while protecting the aluminum exterior.

Multiple Thread Options

Airgun Capital lists several thread configurations for the Eagle.

Available thread pitches include:

  • 1/2-20 UNF
  • 1/2-28 UNEF
  • M14×1.25
  • M18×1
  • M20×1

Airgun Capital identifies 1/2-20 UNF as the most common thread used on U.S.-market airguns.

Airgun Capital requires the M18×1 configuration for .45 and .50 caliber Eagle builds.

Always verify your airgun’s muzzle thread before ordering.

Direct-Thread Design

We configure each Eagle with a threaded base cap matched to the selected rifle thread pitch.

This allows a compatible Eagle to thread directly onto the airgun without requiring an additional adapter.

Airguns using another thread pitch may require a compatible adapter.

Fully User-Disassemblable

The Eagle can be completely disassembled without tools.

The threaded front endcap can be removed by hand, allowing the seven-baffle stack to slide out for inspection and cleaning.

Sound Reduction

Airgun Capital describes the Eagle as providing significant reduction in muzzle report across most airgun platforms.

Actual results depend on several factors, including:

  • Air rifle
  • Caliber
  • Power level
  • FPE
  • Existing barrel shroud
  • Airgun configuration

Sound reduction will therefore vary between airguns.

Large 2″×8″ Design

The Eagle is the largest standard suppressor in the Airgun Capital lineup.

Its dimensions are:

  • Length: 203 mm / approximately 8 inches
  • Diameter: 50.8 mm / 2 inches
  • Weight: 435 grams

The larger body provides increased internal volume compared with shorter Airgun Capital suppressors.
