Description
Airgun Capital Hawk 2″ × 4.5″ Airgun Suppressor
The Airgun Capital Hawk 2″ × 4.5″ Airgun Suppressor combines a large 2-inch diameter with a short 4.5-inch body.
Airgun Capital designed the Hawk for shooters who want substantial internal volume without adding excessive length to the muzzle of their airgun.
The Hawk is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, finished in matte black hard anodizing, and built specifically for the caliber and thread pitch selected when ordering.
Each Hawk arrives configured for the chosen platform and ready to thread onto a compatible airgun.
Compact 2-Inch Airgun Suppressor
The Hawk uses a full 2-inch diameter body while keeping its overall length to approximately 4.5 inches.
Airgun Capital states that the Hawk provides more than twice the internal volume of its Falcon model while using a shorter body.
This compact design makes the Hawk particularly suitable for airguns where overall length is important.
Designed for Bullpups and Hunting Airguns
The Hawk’s short overall length makes it well suited to compact bullpup airguns and hunting rifles.
Its combination of internal volume and compact dimensions allows shooters to add sound reduction without placing a long moderator on the muzzle.
.177 Through .357 Caliber Compatibility
The Airgun Capital Hawk is available for:
- .177 caliber
- .22 caliber
- .25 caliber
- .30 caliber
- .357 caliber
Available caliber configurations include:
- .177 / .22
- .22 / .25
- .25 / .30
- .30 / .357
Airgun Capital recommends the Eagle model instead for .45- and .50-caliber airguns.
Caliber-Matched Front Endcap
Every Hawk includes a front endcap matched to the selected caliber configuration.
Airgun Capital states that the exit bore is sized to approximately 1 mm larger than the projectile diameter.
This caliber-specific design avoids using one oversized exit bore across every caliber configuration.
Three-Baffle Internal Stack
The Hawk contains a three-baffle internal stack.
Each aluminum baffle is removable and sized for the selected caliber configuration.
The removable design also allows the Hawk to be completely disassembled without tools.
CNC-Machined 6061-T6 Aluminum
The Hawk is constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum.
Airgun Capital describes this material as lightweight, corrosion resistant, and durable.
The outer shell is CNC machined, and the internal baffles, front endcap, and base cap are also aluminum.
Matte Black Hard-Anodized Finish
The Hawk features a matte black hard-anodized finish.
The finish provides a clean appearance while protecting the aluminum exterior.
Multiple Thread Options
The Airgun Capital Hawk is available with four thread pitches:
- 1/2-20 UNF
- M14 × 1.25
- M18 × 1
- M20 × 1
Airgun Capital identifies 1/2-20 UNF as the most common thread on U.S.-market airguns.
The company describes M14 × 1.25 as a common European metric thread, M18 × 1 as a thread used on a variety of higher-power platforms, and M20 × 1 as a thread found on several premium European airguns.
Always verify your rifle’s thread pitch before ordering.
Direct-Thread Installation
Each Hawk includes a threaded base cap matched to the selected rifle thread pitch.
When the correct configuration is selected, the Hawk threads directly onto the compatible airgun without requiring an additional adapter.
Airguns using other thread pitches may require a separate adapter.
Fully User-Disassemblable
The Hawk can be completely disassembled without tools.
The front endcap can be removed, allowing the caliber-specific baffle stack to be taken out for inspection and cleaning.
Sound Reduction
Airgun Capital describes the Hawk as providing significant reduction in muzzle report across most airgun platforms.
Actual sound reduction varies depending on factors including:
- Air rifle
- Caliber
- FPE
- Shroud configuration
Performance therefore depends on the individual airgun setup.
Compact Dimensions
The Hawk’s listed dimensions are:
- Length: 114 mm
- Diameter: 50.8 mm
- Weight: 272 g
Its 50.8 mm diameter provides the internal volume of a 2-inch moderator while the 114 mm length keeps the overall package compact.
